The theme for the first half of the year is Ancestry. You will do research on a your country of Ancestry (pick one if you have more than one!). We will "write" a paper (for understanding formatting); create your family's coat of arms in Photoshop; and create an interactive PowerPoint, including hyperlinks to information and/or cool sites you found. 7th grade does a joint project with the English and Art departments, and you will use a cool program called Photo Story 3 to create a movie! We have some new tools that we think you will really like, as well. I think you'll enjoy this year!
